Charity Cycle: COMPLETE

EAST TO WEST

One Day.

One Mission.

CYCLE COMPLETE.

Finnian O’Neill has cycled across Ireland in a single day to support NPH’s work with children with disabilities in Haiti.

Setting off at 00:00 on Sunday, 7 December 2025 and cycling through the night to reach the half way point of Athlone at 0700. Four hours of torrential rain followed until I entered County Mayo where the sun shone for the last three hours. The journey was completed at the Point at Westport Harbour – c16 hours and 271 km (168 miles) later.

See Gallery below for photos of the trip.

Support NPH Orphanage in Haiti

NPH Charity’s Mission:

Residential care, education, therapy and a loving family for those with disabilities in Haiti”

Current Need:

NPH is Haiti’s leading provider of care for children and young adults with disabilities.

There is an ongoing need for funding to support NPH’s disability programs in Haiti and to prevent incidents like the 2025 kidnappings, during which program director Gena Heraty and several colleagues were held captive for a month.

Funds raised from this cycle will help protect these children — especially in the wake of recent violence targeting their community.
